City of Kingston
• Forged instrument: Raquawn Garcia, 19, of Gloversville, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 380 Boulevard, Kingston, at 2:45 p.m. April 30 and was charged with possession of a forged instrument, a felony. Garcia was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail pending a court appearance.
Ellenville
• DWI: Christian Gil Estrada, 21, of Ellenville, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 10:07 p.m. Tuesday on North Main Street in Ellenville and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Estrada was released with tickets for Ellenville Village Court.
Marlborough
• Grand larceny/drugs: Keri A. Jones, 25, of Marlboro, was arrested by state police at Highland at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday at 62 Western Ave., Marlborough, and was charged with three counts of grand larceny of a credit card and one count of grand larceny of property valued at more than $1,000, all felonies, and criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Jones was released with tickets for Marlborough Town Court.
Town of Ulster
• Failure to register: Omar J. Herbert, 32, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 9 a.m. Sunday and was charged with failing to register as a sex offender, a felony. In 2012, Herbert pleaded guilty to rape and perjury, both felonies, in connection with a November 2011 rape. Herbert’s status was unavailable.
Wawarsing
• Weapon: Douglas A. Youmans, 52, of Ellenville, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 9 a.m. Tuesday at 728 Irish Cape Road, Wawarsing, and was charged with criminal possession of a weapon with a previous conviction, a felony. Youmans was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail pending a court appearance.
Saugerties
• Fugitive: Ronald Parrish, 50, of Newark, N.J., was
arrested by state police at Ulster at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday on the New York State Thruway, Exit 20, northbound, in Saugerties, and was charged as a
fugitive from justice. Parrish was sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail pending a court appearance. Further information was unavailable.
