George E. Bowers, 75, of Kingston
George E. Bowers, 75, of Kingston, formerly of Carlisle, Pa., died Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home in Lake Katrine. Born Nov. 2, 1940 in Kingston, he was the son of the late George E. and Charlotte (Hahn) Bowers.
George was a member of the Army Reserves in both Kingston and Carlisle, Pa. He received his associate’s degree from Dutchess County Community College and was employed by the Penn Credit Union in Carlisle until retirement. Previously he had worked for both the Benedictine and Northern Dutchess Hospitals, as the credit manager. He loved his family and animals.
Surviving are his sons, Patrick Bowers and his wife Sara, George and his wife Michele, Donald and his wife Robin all of Carlisle, Pa.; and his sisters, Shirley M. Doty, Marilyn A. Schrowang and her husband Joseph, Deborah C. Lukazewski and her husband, John. He was the brother-in-law of the late Fred Doty. Grandchildren, cousins, several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews also survive.

Inurnment in Montrepose Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
