Teens hospitalized after Jeep rolls over
A 17-year-old Tivoli man and a 15-year-old girl were hospitalized after a one-vehicle rollover accident.
A 17-year-old Tivoli man and a 15-yearold girl were hospitalized after a one-vehicle rollover accident on the Taconic State Parkway on Friday evening, according to the Columbia County sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said Parker Levenson was driving his Jeep Wrangler north on the parkway just south of the interchange with state Route 23 around 6:30 p.m. when the front passenger side tire blew out. The Jeep then veered off the east side of the road, rolled over twice and came to a stop upright on its tires, according to deputies.
The 15-year-old girl, who was riding in the Jeep, was airlifted to Albany Medical Center with internal injuries, while Levenson was taken by ambulance to Albany Medical Center for evaluation, deputies said, adding that no tickets were issued.
