The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.

City of Kingston

• DWI: Brianna A. Benson, 22, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 12:20 a.m. Saturday on Broadway on a misdemeanor charge of drunken driving. She was released with a ticket to appear in Kingston City Court.

Catskill

• Drugs: Michael J. Cleary, 60, of Cairo, was arrested Tuesday on a felony charge of criminal sale of a controlled substance. State police at Catskill said the arrest was the result of a three-month investigation into the sale of heroin in the Greene County area. State police and the Greene County District Attorney’s Office were assisted in the investigation by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office and the Catskill village police. The investigation is ongoing, police said. Cleary was arraigned in Catskill Town Court and sent to Greene County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail pending a court appearance.

Lloyd

• DWI: Douglas G. Gabriel, 42, of New Paltz, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 10:07 p.m. Friday on state Route 299 on a misdemeanor charge of drunken driving. He was released with a ticket to appear in Lloyd Town Court.

New Paltz

• DWI: Khariff M. Laboy, 20, of Troy, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 4:45 a.m. Saturday on state Route 32 on a misdemeanor charge of drunken driving, as well as the infraction of moving from lane unsafely. He was released with tickets to appear in New Paltz Town Court.
