Kligler returns to Woodstock Jewish Congregation
WOODSTOCK >> Rabbi Jonathan Kligler has returned to the Woodstock Jewish Congregation, 1682 Glasco Turnpike, as the congregational rabbi.
Kligler has been heading up the Lev Shalem Institute. With the return of Kligler, who led the congregation for 26 years, as congregational rabbi, the classes and courses scheduled for the institute have become part of the congregation’s adult education offerings.
Kligler will lead the High Holy Day services. The schedule is as follows:
• Oct. 2, Erev Rosh Hashanah at 7 p.m., followed by a teen discussion at 7:30 p.m.
• Oct. 3, Rosh Hashanah (first day) at 10 a.m., with children’s services at 10:30 a.m. and Taschlich service after kiddush.
• Oct. 4, Rosh Hashanah (second day) at 10 a.m. Children are welcome in the main tent and playground. There will be no organized children’s activities.
• Oct. 11, Kol Nidre at 7 p.m.
• Oct. 12, Yom Kippur, with morning services at 10 a.m., children’s services at 10:30 a.m. and Neilah services at 6 p.m. There will be services/activities all day.
