Overturned tractor-trailer closes Thruway lanes

Traffic in both directions of the New York State Thruway was shut down Saturday morning after a tractor-trailer overturned on the southbound Thruway lanes just before Exit 16 in Harriman.

Southbound traffic was prevented from entering the Thruway at Newburgh Exit 17 and all northbound traffic was diverted at Harriman Exit 16. The highway was closed for hours.
