The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
Town of Ulster
• Shoplifting: Angelena M. Arrison, 21, of Newburgh, was arrested at about 8:50p.m. Friday on charges of drunken driving, a misdemeanor, and failure to stop for a stop sign, an infraction. Ulster town police said Arrison was arrested following a traffic stop on Frank Sottile Boulevard. She was released with tickets to appear in Ulster Town Court.
Cairo
• DWI: Drew J. McCabe, 44, of Cairo, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 12:37a.m. Monday on state Route 23on a charge of drunken driving, a misdemeanor. He was released with a ticket to appear in Cairo Town Court.
Catskill
• Drugs: Ethel A. Holliday, 46, of Saugerties, was arrested by Thruway state police at Kingston at 11a.m. Sunday on the Thruway and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and a probation violation, both misdemeanors. She was also wanted as a fugitive from justice, police said. Holliday was held pending arraignment.
• Drugs: Joseph J. DiStefano IV, 28, of Catskill, was arrested by Catskill village police at 12:08p.m. Sept. 19on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and possession of marijuana, a violation. He was released with tickets to appear in Catskill Village Court.
Esopus
• DWI: John C. Motta, 19, of Esopus, was arrested by state police at Highland at 11:11p.m. Sunday on Old Post Road on a misdemeanor charge of drunken driving. He was released to a third party with a ticket to appear in Esopus Town Court.
Town of Kingston
• DWI: William F. Hancock, 66, of Woodstock, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 8:38p.m. Sunday on state Route 28on charges of drunken driving, a misdemeanor, and moving from lane unsafely and inadequate plate lamp, both violations. He was released to a third party with tickets to appear in Kingston Town Court.
Lloyd
• DWI: Jamie Rodriguez, 47, of Esopus, was arrested Friday by Lloyd police on felony charges of drunken driving and aggravated unlicensed driving. He was arraigned in Plattekill Town Court and sent to Ulster County Jail without
bail pending a court appearance.
• DWI: Wayne M. Fiorelli, 61, of Marlboro, was arrested Sept. 19by Lloyd police on misdemeanor charges of aggravated drunken driving and drunken driving. He was released with tickets to appear in Lloyd Town Court.
• DWI: Marcus D. Brooks, 21, of Marlboro, was arrested Thursday by Lloyd police on a misdemeanor charge of drunken driving. He was released with a ticket to appear in Lloyd Town Court.
New Paltz
• DWI: Volodymir Holoborodko, 24, of Fort Lee, N.J., was arrested by state police at Highland at 4p.m. Sunday on state Route 299on a misdemeanor charge of drunken driving. He was released with a ticket to appear in New Paltz Town Court.
