Two teams competing in next week’s Mid-Hudson Athletic League golf team championsh­ip squared off at Dinsmore Golf Course, with host Roosevelt High holding off Rondout Valley, 155-158.

Jeff Peters earned medalist honors for the (102) Presidents, shooting an even-par 34, followed by Jake Rand (38), Max LaFalce (41) and Zach Plambeck (42).

Branch Cranfield led the (8-2) Ganders with a 36. Brennan O’Connell and Jeff Shaver shot 40s, while Travis Hornbeck rounded the scoring with a 42.

The team tournament is scheduled for next Thursday at Apple Greens in Highland, with Spackenkil­l and either Rhinebeck or Millbrook also competing. Marlboro 180, Wallkill 197

At Highland, Will Conti shot a 42 to lead the (9-2) Dukes in the match at Apple Greens.

Cade Cabrera carded a 44, while Charles Benfer and Conner Corrado added 47s in the win.

Sean Ferry carded a 48 in the win, followed by Jonathan Wright (56) and Evan Banbury (62).

At Red Hook, Ben Rinaldi and Steven Byrum each shot a 45 to lead the Hawks at Red Hook Golf Course
