The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
Hyde Park
• Grand larceny: Robert B. Branagan, 49, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at the state police barracks in Rhinebeck and was charged with grand larceny with a credit card, a felony. Branagan was released with a ticket for Hyde Park Town Court.
Marlborough
• Contempt: Joshua Mann, 25, of Marlboro, was arrested by state police at Highland at 1:55 a.m. Friday in Marlborough and was charged with criminal contempt with physical contact and aggravated family offense, both felonies. Mann was released with a ticket for Marlborough Town Court.
Saugerties
• DWI: John G. Miller Jr., 23, of Bellwood Lane, Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties police at 2:07 a.m. Friday on Plattekill Drive in the Mount Marion Park and was charged with drunken driving, a misdemeanor. Miller was stopped by police who said he was driving with a blood-alcohol content twice the legal limit. He was also charged with the violations of having an open container in his vehicle, possession of marijuana and having a loud vehicle exhaust. Miller was released with a ticket for Saugerties Town Court.
Wawarsing
• Drugs: Christina M. Faust, 26, of Kerhonkson, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 8:10 p.m. Thursday on 42nd Street in Kerhonkson and was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors, and with possession of marijuana and having a controlled substance in a non-origional container (two counts), all violations. Faust was released with a ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
