-

The Klyne Esopus Museum will hold its “Classic Roast Turkey Dinner and All the Trimmings” on Saturday, Oct. 22.

Continuous servings will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Reformed Church of Port Ewen, 160 Salem St. The church is fully handicapped accessible. Takeout dinners will be available from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m.

The dinner, a community tradition, will be served by local and county elected officials and candidates in a demonstration of non-partisan support for a good cause. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for children under 12.

The museum, on U.S. Route 9W in Esopus, features artifacts and exhibits detailing the history of the town from Native American settlement through the present. The historical society also offers activities of local interest including an annual season exhibit, speakers programs, and a community recognition dinner in the spring.
