‘Scarecrows at Frog Alley’ will be Oct. 22

KINGSTON >> A bit of its agrarian heritage will return to Frog Alley Park for the fifth annual “Scarecrows at Frog Alley.”

The community event, featuring stylish scarecrows crafted by local artists, area businesses and community members, began in 2012. Co-sponsored by the Friends of Historic Kingston and the Junior League of Kingston, the event will take place Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the ruins of the Louw-Bogardus-House on Frog Alley, adjacent to the Wiltwyck Fire Station.

The public is encouraged to create their own scarecrows. Contact scarecrows­atfrogalle­y@gmail.com by Oct. 10 to reserve a spot and for additional event details.
