Lopez goal in over­time lifts Kingston to vic­tory

Lu­cas Lopez’s goal in the sec­ond over­time lifted Kingston High over Pine Bush 4-3 in an OCIAA soc­cer match. Eli Con­ners and Brayan Gon­za­lez had goals in the first half to give the Tigers a 2-0 edge.

Colin Sul­li­van scored seven min­utes into the first over­time to hand Red Hook High a 2-1 win over Wal­lkill in a Mid-Hud­son Ahtletic League soc­cer match that served as a pos­si­ble pre­view of the MHAL semi­fi­nals.

Ja­son Allen’s goal on a Hud­son Miller as­sist gave the Raiders a 1-0 edge they held un­til 36 min­utes into the sec­ond half when Ryan Cas­tle scored the equal­izer for the Pan­thers on a Daniel Crisano as­sist. Red Hook out­shot Wal­lkill, 21-11.

Ryan Hob­son had eight saves for the (8-3) Raiders, while Justin Dunkowski stopped 16 shots for the (84) Pan­thers. Spack­enkill 3, Cole­man 0

At Pough­keep­sie, the Spar­tans im­proved to 10-0 with the shutout.

Gian­carlo Porco, as­sisted by Jake Kauf­man had a goal in the 18th minute, and Vik­tor Drasny scored on a Travis Klipp in the 35th minute that gave Spack­enkill a 2-0 edge at the half.

Anirudh Bhi­mavarapu, also on an Klipp as­sist, scored in the sec­ond half to give the Spar­tans the 3-0 edge.

The Spar­tans dom­i­nated the (8-6) Statese­men 22-2 in shots on goals.

At Sauger­ties, the Sawyers blanked the Gan­ders.

Jose Pablo Leiva Sosa scored a goal in the 15th minute on a Sam Bagshaw as­sist for a 1-0 lead. The score re­mained 1-0 un­til the 70th minute when Carlo San­tella scored on a Luis Car­pio as­sist.

Four min­utes later, Martin Lopez, on a Josh McCor­mack as­sist, rounded the scor­ing.

Seth Van­der­beck had four saves for (8-4) Sauger­ties, while Ryan SHee­han stopped five shots for (3-9-1) Ron­d­out. Roo­sevelt 5, New Paltz 1

Ethan Hart and Bran­don Gra­cias each had two goals and an as­sist, and Nazere Dou­glas added a goal to lead the Pres­i­dents.

Markese Shelby and Chris­tian San­ti­ago each con­trib­uted an as­sist in the win.

Ryan Diehl recorded five saves for Roo­sevelt.
