Lopez goal in overtime lifts Kingston to victory

Lucas Lopez’s goal in the second overtime lifted Kingston High over Pine Bush 4-3 in an OCIAA soccer match. Eli Conners and Brayan Gonzalez had goals in the first half to give the Tigers a 2-0 edge.

Colin Sullivan scored seven minutes into the first overtime to hand Red Hook High a 2-1 win over Wallkill in a Mid-Hudson Ahtletic League soccer match that served as a possible preview of the MHAL semifinals.

Jason Allen’s goal on a Hudson Miller assist gave the Raiders a 1-0 edge they held until 36 minutes into the second half when Ryan Castle scored the equalizer for the Panthers on a Daniel Crisano assist. Red Hook outshot Wallkill, 21-11.

Ryan Hobson had eight saves for the (8-3) Raiders, while Justin Dunkowski stopped 16 shots for the (84) Panthers. Spackenkil­l 3, Coleman 0

At Poughkeeps­ie, the Spartans improved to 10-0 with the shutout.

Giancarlo Porco, assisted by Jake Kaufman had a goal in the 18th minute, and Viktor Drasny scored on a Travis Klipp in the 35th minute that gave Spackenkil­l a 2-0 edge at the half.

Anirudh Bhimavarap­u, also on an Klipp assist, scored in the second half to give the Spartans the 3-0 edge.

The Spartans dominated the (8-6) Statesemen 22-2 in shots on goals.

At Saugerties, the Sawyers blanked the Ganders.

Jose Pablo Leiva Sosa scored a goal in the 15th minute on a Sam Bagshaw assist for a 1-0 lead. The score remained 1-0 until the 70th minute when Carlo Santella scored on a Luis Carpio assist.

Four minutes later, Martin Lopez, on a Josh McCormack assist, rounded the scoring.

Seth Vanderbeck had four saves for (8-4) Saugerties, while Ryan SHeehan stopped five shots for (3-9-1) Rondout. Roosevelt 5, New Paltz 1

Ethan Hart and Brandon Gracias each had two goals and an assist, and Nazere Douglas added a goal to lead the Presidents.

Markese Shelby and Christian Santiago each contribute­d an assist in the win.

Ryan Diehl recorded five saves for Roosevelt.
