Roosevelt earns sweep in MHAL triangular

Roosevelt High swept a Mid-Hudson Athletic League cross country meet at Mills Estates.

The boys defeated Rondout Valley 23-38 and Ellenville 20-42, while the girls downed Rondout 15-46 and Ellenville 15-50.

Rondout edged the Blue Devils 27-28 in the boys race and took a 15-50 decision from the girls.

Roosevelt took the top five spots in the girls race, led by Sarah Trainor (23:13) and Nadia Cathcart (23:14). The Presidents had seven boys in the top 10.
