Harold G. Miller, Jr., 81, of Kingston, passed away Wed­nes­day, Oct. 12, 2016.

He was born March 20, 1935 in Mid­dle­town, N.Y., to the late Harold G. Miller, Sr., and June (Corkey) Miller.

He was mar­ried to Dorothy “Faye” (Ed­wards) Miller; they wed on March 4th 1958. Faye passed away on Aug. 31st 2005.

Harold was a Kingston High School grad­u­ate, class of 1953. He later served his coun­try in the U.S. Air Force. Harold worked for many years at the Daily Free­man and re­tired from Phillips Com­po­nents in Sauger­ties. He en­joyed read­ing, fish­ing, driv­ing his Buick and spend­ing time with his fam­ily.

He is sur­vived by his chil­dren, Kathy Banks and her hus­band Harry Banks, Sr. of Shokan, Wayne Miller and his fi­ancée Pa­tri­cia VanAken of Con­nelly, Wendy Miller of Sauger­ties, five grand­chil­dren, Danielle, Stacy, Shan­non, Justin and Joshua and four great­grand­chil­dren, Bianca, Mar­ciano, Cam­ryn, and Joshua his sib­lings, Carol Stein­miller and Cindy Puetz of Kingston, as well as his long­time com­pan­ion, Caro­line Bruno.

En­trusted to the care of Keyser Fu­neral & Cre­ma­tion Ser­vice, 326 Al­bany Ave., Kingston, where friends and fam­ily may visit on Sun­day, Oct. 16th, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The ser­vice will be held on Mon­day at 10 a.m. at the fu­neral home fol­lowed by burial in Wiltwyck Ceme­tery, Kingston.
