Harold G. Miller, Jr., 81, of Kingston

Harold G. Miller, Jr., 81, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016.

He was born March 20, 1935 in Middletown, N.Y., to the late Harold G. Miller, Sr., and June (Corkey) Miller.

He was married to Dorothy “Faye” (Edwards) Miller; they wed on March 4th 1958. Faye passed away on Aug. 31st 2005.

Harold was a Kingston High School graduate, class of 1953. He later served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Harold worked for many years at the Daily Freeman and retired from Phillips Components in Saugerties. He enjoyed reading, fishing, driving his Buick and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children, Kathy Banks and her husband Harry Banks, Sr. of Shokan, Wayne Miller and his fiancée Patricia VanAken of Connelly, Wendy Miller of Saugerties, five grandchildren, Danielle, Stacy, Shannon, Justin and Joshua and four greatgrandchildren, Bianca, Marciano, Camryn, and Joshua his siblings, Carol Steinmiller and Cindy Puetz of Kingston, as well as his longtime companion, Caroline Bruno.

Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where friends and family may visit on Sunday, Oct. 16th, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston.
