Rondout nets MHAL victory over Roosevelt

Rondout Valley’s volleyball team is now 12-1 overall after defeating Roosevelt in four games in an MHAL match. After two tough initial sets, the Ganders downed Roosevelt 25-23, 24-26, 25-13, 25-18.

Mira Bozman (16 kills, seven digs, seven aces), Meaghan Romaguera (17 kills, eight digs) and Mary Sommer (13 assists, two kills, two digs) led Rondout.

At Wallkill, the Panthers improved to 8-2 in the MHAL and 11-2 overall with a 25-13, 25-22, 2514 sweep of New Paltz.

Pine Plains was paced by Johann Schmidt (five kills, five blocks, four digs, three assists), Mackenzie Burton (12 digs, four kills), Ashley Starzyk (four kills, seven blocks, to assists, one dig) and Rebekah Koch (six assists, six digs).
