Mohonk hosts ‘Culture of Peace’ conference

Mohonk Consultations will host a full day conference titled, “Realizing a Culture of Peace,” from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 7 in the Mohonk Mountain House Parlor.

The conference, cosponsored by the Kosmos Journal, Lifebridge Foundation and the United Nations Association Mid Hudson Valley Chapter, will explore ways to create a just and sustainable society that is ethically and ecologically sound and ways to live and work together to build safe and nonviolent communities.

Advance registration is required. Cost is $50; and $10 for students (there is limited seating for students), and includes lunch.

Speakers will be streamed live around the world and their presentations will be made available online.
