Mo­honk hosts ‘Cul­ture of Peace’ con­fer­ence

Mo­honk Con­sul­ta­tions will host a full day con­fer­ence ti­tled, “Real­iz­ing a Cul­ture of Peace,” from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 7 in the Mo­honk Moun­tain House Par­lor.

The con­fer­ence, cospon­sored by the Kos­mos Jour­nal, Lifebridge Foun­da­tion and the United Na­tions As­so­ci­a­tion Mid Hud­son Val­ley Chap­ter, will ex­plore ways to cre­ate a just and sus­tain­able so­ci­ety that is eth­i­cally and eco­log­i­cally sound and ways to live and work to­gether to build safe and non­vi­o­lent com­mu­ni­ties.

Ad­vance reg­is­tra­tion is re­quired. Cost is $50; and $10 for stu­dents (there is limited seat­ing for stu­dents), and in­cludes lunch.

Speak­ers will be streamed live around the world and their pre­sen­ta­tions will be made avail­able on­line.
