Museum offers ‘I Spy’ Halloween Trail
WHAT: “I Spy” Halloween Trail WHEN: Oct. 29 and 30 from noon to 4 p.m.
WHERE: Hudson Highlands Nature Museum’s Outdoor Discovery Center, Muser Drive, Cornwall-on-Hudson DETAILS: Families looking for a fun but not-so-spooky Halloween adventure can drop the weekend before Halloween. On the Halloween Trail, posters in rhythm and rhyme lead everyone to search for objects cleverly hidden along the trail. Brave adventurers will discover which items belong in nature, like skulls and bones, and which ones do not. Find them all and earn a prize. In addition, visitors can see live animals such as reptiles and insects in the “Creepy Crawly” room, play a Halloween game and make a spooky craft. Admission for children ages 2 to 14 is $7, $5 for members. Admission is free to people ages 15 and older.
