Mu­seum of­fers ‘I Spy’ Hal­loween Trail

WHAT: “I Spy” Hal­loween Trail WHEN: Oct. 29 and 30 from noon to 4 p.m.

WHERE: Hud­son High­lands Na­ture Mu­seum’s Out­door Dis­cov­ery Cen­ter, Muser Drive, Corn­wall-on-Hud­son DE­TAILS: Fam­i­lies look­ing for a fun but not-so-spooky Hal­loween ad­ven­ture can drop the week­end be­fore Hal­loween. On the Hal­loween Trail, posters in rhythm and rhyme lead ev­ery­one to search for ob­jects clev­erly hid­den along the trail. Brave ad­ven­tur­ers will dis­cover which items be­long in na­ture, like skulls and bones, and which ones do not. Find them all and earn a prize. In ad­di­tion, vis­i­tors can see live an­i­mals such as rep­tiles and in­sects in the “Creepy Crawly” room, play a Hal­loween game and make a spooky craft. Ad­mis­sion for chil­dren ages 2 to 14 is $7, $5 for mem­bers. Ad­mis­sion is free to peo­ple ages 15 and older.
