-

Roasted turkey, stuffing, broccoli, tossed salad, dinner rolls, and holiday pies will be on the menu for New Paltz Central School District’s 24th annual Thanksgiving holiday meal for local senior citizens.

The annual feast is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16. The Thanksgiving holiday meal will be served at two locations: the Lenape Elementary School cafeteria and the Duzine Elementary School cafeteria.

Michael Robinson, the district’s food service director, said he is looking forward to the event.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity for seniors to get to know and see the youngsters in our schools, as well as enjoy a delightful meal,” he said.

The school’s food service staff will prepare the meal, and students will help serve it. Student artwork will be displayed and entertainment will be provided during the dinner.

To reserve a seat, call Lenape or Duzine schools.
