2 men charged in drug sweep still at large
Two of the 46 people charged in an Oct. 13 drug sweep by federal and local law-enforcement agencies at numerous locations in Kingston and Poughkeepsie remain at large, according to the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team.
Authorities are looking for Lashawn J. Brickhouse, 28, and Maurice Wood, 31, both of Kingston, URGENT said.
Wood is wanted for the felony of possession of heroin with intent to distribute. The charges pending against Brickhouse were unavailable.
In unrelated cases, URGENT is attempting to locate Alexa M. Stefanchik, 25, of Hopewell Junction, and Rackish G. Salmon, 32, formerly of Poughkeepsie.
Stefanchik is being sought in connection with a prostitution investigation in the town of New Paltz. She allegedly provided officers with the name of a relative at the time of her arrest and then failed to appear in court to answer the charges, according to a press release. There is a bench warrant for her arrest for the felony of offering a false instrument for filing, among other charges.
Stefanchik also is wanted by Poughkeepsie and Fishkill police.
Salmon was indicted by an Ulster County grand jury for felony drug sales, according to URGENT.
URGENT is asking anyone with information on the whereabouts any of these individuals to call the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office at (845) 338-3640 or email urgenttaskforce@ co.ulster.ny.us.
