BASKETBALL Youth Leagues Saugerties Athletic Association Biddy Youth & Junior League: Registration 6-8 p.m. Nov. 4 and 11 at the Frank Greco Center on Market Street. Biddy Youth is open to boys and girls ages 9-12 as of Dec. 1, 2016. Junior League open to age 1315 (as of Dec. 1, 2016). Fee is $40 per child or $70 per family. For boys and girls ages 5-14. $20 per player. All are welcome. There are no additional out-of-town fees. League games are played Mondays for girls 9-14 and coed 5-8 and Tuesdays for boys 9-14. All ages of youth bowlers welcome. League meets 11 a.m. Saturdays. Cost is $6 per week. There will be bumper bowling for new and younger players to help them develop. Don’t care what kind of an average you have or don’t have. This is a great group of bowlers who enjoy relaxing after a long week. All bowlers will use last year’s average. This is a handicap tournament. Regular tournaments will be held the last Sunday of each month through March. All bowlers receive points for each tournament they participate in toward the April Championship event. Officiating Mid-Hudson Wrestling Officials Association New Officials Clinic: The Mid-Hudson Chapter of the New York State Association of Certified Wrestling Officials, which serves Section 9 and 1 in Ulster and Dutchess counties, is planning to conduct clinics for new officials soon. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age. Fee is $25 for materials and the course. If you pass the test and become a Candidate Official, there is an additional $56 for dues for the 2016-17 season.
