City of Kingston
• DWI: Kimberly A. Murphy, 44, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 3:15 a.m. Sunday on Wall Street on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. Murphy was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.
· DWI: Jose Pabon, 56, of Kingston, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 9:40 a.m. Friday on Clinton Avenue on charges of resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration, both misdemeanors, and harassment, a violation. Police said Pabon tried to stop them from executing an arrest warrant on 19-year-old Dakota Middaugh, also of Kingston. Authorities said they arrested Pabon and Middaugh and took them to the Ulster County Jail, where Pabon is being held on $500 bail. Middaugh was released pending a court appearance. Deputies did not specify a charge against Middaugh.
Catskill
· DWAI: Lucas S. Severo, 21, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskill on state Route 32 at 2:05 a.m. Sunday on charges of driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, and unlawful marijuana possession, a violation. Severo was released with tickets for Catskill Town Court.
· DWI: Erin L. Cmuchowski, 26, of Chatham, was arrested by state police at Catskill at an undisclosed location at 4:30 a.m. Sunday on charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Cmuchowski was released with tickets for Catskill Town Court.
Coxsackie
• DWI: Gregory D. Patterson, 24, of Greenville, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 7 a.m. Saturday on Lyme Street on charges of drunken driving, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding .08 percent and aggravated unlicensed operation, all misdemeanors, and unlawful marijuana possession, a violation. Patterson was also issued a traffic ticket for unsafe backing of a vehicle and was released with tickets for Coxsackie Town Court.
• DWAI: Shannon Elbreth, 44, of Athens, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 6:07 p.m. Saturday on Sleepy Hollow Road on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a felony, and operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. Elbrath was released pending a court appearance.
• Forged instrument: Jamal O. Cosbert, 24, of Albany, was arrested by state police at Greenville at 4:32 a.m. Sunday on U.S. Route 9W on charges of possession of a forged instrument and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, both felonies, and drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. • DWI: Joseph Santillo, 50, of Middletown, was arrested by state police at Greenville at 2:03 p.m. Saturday on state Route 32 on a charge of criminal contempt, a felony. Further information was unavailable. Lloyd
• DWI: An 18-year-old New Paltz man was arrested by state police at Highland at 2 p.m. Saturday on state Route 299 on a misdemeanor charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police would not release the name of the man, who was released pending an appearance in New Paltz Town Court.
• Weapons: Paul Penta, 27, of East Elmhurst, was arrested by state police at Highland at 12:30 a.m. Sunday on state Route 299 on charges of criminal possession of a weapon (firearm), a misdemeanor, and unlawful marijuana possession, a violation. Penta was also ticketed for failure to dim lights, and was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.
New Paltz
• DWAI: Elijah J. Bernstein, 23, of New Paltz, was arrested by state police at Highland at 9:45 p.m. Saturday on state Route 32 on charges of operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, and unlawful marijuana possession, a violation. He was also issued traffic tickets for inadequate muffler, unsafe turn, failure to signal and a seat belt violation. Bernstein was released with tickets for New Paltz Town Court.
Olive
• DWI: Rudolph J. Labounty, 64, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:47 p.m. Saturday on state Route 28 on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. Labounty was released with tickets for Olive Town Court.
Wawarsing
• Theft: Douglas Cooper, 52, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 6721 U.S. Route 209 at 11:10 a.m. Saturday on a felony grand larceny charge. Cooper was released pending a court appearance. Further information was unavailable.
• Absconding: Matthew J. Walden, 25, of Ellenville, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 751 Briggs Highway at 2 p.m. Saturday on charges of absconding a communal treatment facility, a felony, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Walden was held at the Ulster County Jail without bail pending a court appearance.
