Mil­dred R. (Burch) Al­li­son, 101, of Kingston

Mil­dred R. (Burch) Al­li­son, 101, of Kingston, N.Y., passed away Fri­day, Nov. 4, 2016.

She was born Jan. 15, 1915, in Rock­port, Conn., to the late John Burch and Maude (Baker) Burch. Mil­lie was mar­ried to Ralph J. Al­li­son, who passed away on May 27, 1996.

She was a for­mer Scout Leader and very in­volved in her church in Province­town. She was ac­tive with her hus­band in the VFW, and vol­un­teered de­liv­er­ing Meals on Wheels. For many years she was a self-em­ployed baker and caterer. She catered many wed­dings and was known for her wed­ding and birth­day cakes.

She is sur­vived by her sons, James (Suzanne) Al­li­son of Kingston, N.Y., Fran­cis (Joan) Al­li­son of Mont­gomery, N.Y.; her grand­chil­dren, Ge­or­gia (Dale) Wein­mann, James Al­li­son, Jonathan (Deb­bie) Al­li­son, Jef­frey (Clau­dia) Al­li­son, Kim­berly Al­li­son, and Stephen Al­li­son; and her great-grand­chil­dren, Ruthie, Arlo, and Oliver. She is pre­de­ceased by her son, Richard Tot­ten, and her broth­ers, Howard and Fran­cis Burch.

En­trusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral & Cre­ma­tion Ser­vice, 326 Al­bany Ave., Kingston, where friends and fam­ily may visit on Mon­day, Nov. 7, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the ser­vice start­ing at 1 p.m.

The fam­ily would like to ex­tend their sin­cere grat­i­tude to the staff at Ten Broeck Com­mons for the com­pas­sion­ate care they pro­vided Mil­lie.
