Adele A. Gray, 72, of Saugerties
Adele A. Gray, 72, of Saugerties, N.Y., passed peacefully Monday morning, Nov. 21, 2016, at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus, Kingston, N.Y. She was born Feb. 20, 1944, in the Bronx, the daughter of the late Armand and Theresa Ungaro Fischetti.
She was the wife of Robert H. Gray Jr. for more than 20 years. Robert died in 2008.
She met her husband at St. Clara’s Church of God in Christ (now Pointe of Praise). Shortly after that, they moved to Tarboro, N.C., where they founded the Crossroads Pentecostal Temple and ministered to the folks of that area. Adele lived in North Carolina for almost 30 years and moved back to New York in 2015. She was a devout Christian. She enjoyed reading her Bible, praying with and for others, spreading the word, and was always there to help, either with a kind word or a helping hand.
Adele is survived by her brothers, Guy Fischetti and his wife Judy of Woodstock, Raymond P. Fischetti of Woodstock and Joseph Fischetti.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Armand Fischetti Jr. and Carmine Fischetti, and a niece, Natatia Fischetti.
A celebration of Adele’s life will be held at the New Life Church, 3045 U.S. Route 9W, Saugerties, on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 2:30 p.m. The family will receive their friends from 2 to 2:30 p.m. at the church.
