Saugerties High clinched a berth in the Section 9, Class A boys basketball tournament by winning its regular-season finale Wednesday, defeating Highland 48-41 in a nonleague game.

Dior Johnson scored 13 of his 15 points in the second half and also had five rebounds and four assists to lead the Sawyers, who rallied from seven down at halftime.
Austin Curlin (five points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals), Omar Mazariego (three 3-point field goals for nine points) and Tavin Rell (three steals) also had key contributions for Saugerties.
Andre Twyman connected for 15 points and Cameron Ness had 12 to lead Highland.
