The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
City of Kingston
• DWI: Tarrah R. Herzog, 27, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 3:30 a.m. Friday on Elmendorf Street and was charged with felony drunken driving. Herzog was released with a ticket for Kingston City Court.
Cairo
• Drugs: Victor J. Iamunno, 30, of Livingstonville, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 5:48 p.m. Thursday on Main Street and was charged with resisting arrest, criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument, all misdemeanors. Iamunno was released with a ticket for Cairo Town Court.
Catskill
• Assault: John R. Walker, 34, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 10:30 a.m. Thursday and was charged with felony assault. Further information was unavailable.
Plattekill
• Identity theft/forged
instrument: Sean A. Hasanoeddin, 37, of Brooklyn, was arrested by state police at Newburgh on the New York State Thruway and, after providing a false name and a false Connecticut driver’s license during the traffic stop, was found to have a forged credit card. He was charged with possession of a forged instrument and identity theft, both felonies, and with criminal impersonation, false personation and driving while ability impaired by drugs, all misdemeanors. Hasanoeddin was sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail pending a court appearance.
Rhinebeck
• Endangering: Jared Ocham, 32, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 2:38 p.m. Thursday at the state police barracks at 5696 U.S. Route 9, and was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor. Ocham was released with a ticket for Rhinebeck Town Court.
Town of Ulster
• DWI: Dionne E. Coston, 28, of Kerhonkson, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:56 p.m. Thursday on Washington Avenue and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a bloodalcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors, and with the infractions of driving without an inspection certificate and driving with an inadequate or nonexistent plate lamp. Coston was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
• DWI: Chandra M. Crandall, 51, of Hurley, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 2:11 a.m. Friday on state Route 28 in the town of Ulster and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Crandall was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
Wawarsing
• Shoplifting: Barbara J. Deschamps, 47, of Napanoch, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 5:32 p.m. Thursday on Pumpkin Lane and was charged with two misdemeanor counts of petit larceny. Deschamps was released with a ticket for Wawarsing Town Court. Further information was unavailable.
