The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
City of Kingston
· DWI: Heather A. Wilson, 25, of Beacon, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at about 8 a.m. Feb. 22 and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Police responding to a reported erratic driver U.S. Route 9W in Esopus found Wilson and her vehicle on Broadway in Port Ewen. When deputies attempted to stop Wilson she failed to pull over. The vehicle was eventually stopped on Koenig Boulevard. Wilson was released with a ticket for Kingston City Court.
Cairo
· Assault: Scott T. Balfe, 59, of Earlton, was arrested by state police at Catskill at Catskill at 1:41 p.m. at the barracks, 78A McLaren Road Ext., and charged with felony assault. Balfe was sent to the Greene County Jail. Additional information was unavailable.
Catskill
· Endangering: Joseph Repetur, 45, of Cairo, was arrested by state police Monday at the barracks, 78A McLaren Road Ext., at 2:04 p.m. Monday and charged with the misdemeanor of endangering the welfare of a child. Repetur was released with a ticket for Catskill Town Court.
Coxsackie
· DWI: Gregory K. Mower, 66, of Hannacroix, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 9:40 p.m. Monday on state Route 81 and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Mower was released with a ticket for Coxsackie Town Court.
Red Hook
· DWI/obstructing governmental administration: Michelle I. Kalinowski, 49, of Gloversville, was arrested by Red Hook police at 11:35 a.m. Feb. 22 on North Broadway in the village and charged with the misdemeanors of drunken driving and obstructing governmental administration (two counts), and with several vehicle and traffic infractions. Kalinowski’s license was suspended and she was released with a ticket for Red Hook Village Court.
Wawarsing
· Aggravated contempt/ endangering: Byron C. Brown, 33, of New Windsor, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 1:40 a.m. Tuesday and charged with felony aggravated contempt, two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child under 17 and one misdemeanor count of assault. Ellenville police responded to the Continental Motel for a physical domestic and discovered the victim was assaulted by Brown in the presence of two children. Police said the victim had a valid order of protection against Brown. He was released with a ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
Lloyd
· Drugs/tampering with physical evidence: Joseph V. Garguilo Jr., 56, of Highland, was arrested by Lloyd police on Thursday and charged with the felony of tampering with physical evidence and with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Garguilo was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
