Lloyd
• Unlawfully dealing
with a child: Matthew P. Melamed, 22, of Plattekill, was arrested by state police at Highland at 10:20 a.m. Thursday on state Route 299 and was charged with two counts of unlawfully dealing with a child/alcohol, a misdemeanor. Melamed was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
Town of Rochester
• Drugs: A 16-year-old boy from Oberburgh was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 2:22 a.m. Friday on U.S. Route 44/state Route 55 and was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. He was released with a ticket for Rochester Town Court.
Town of Ulster
• Contraband: Robert Garcia, 32, of the Bronx, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at state police headquarters, 1791 U.S. Route 209, and was charged with contraband in prison and criminal possession of a controlled substance (two counts), all felonies. Garcia was held pending a further court appearance. Further information was unavailable.
• Drugs: Blair C. McMillen, 47, of New York City, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:30 p.m. Thursday on state Route 199 and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; possession of marijuana, a violation; and no headlights, an infraction. McMillen was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
Saugerties
• Drugs: Bryant A. Jacob, 27, of Eastern Parkway, Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties police at 7:27 p.m. Thursday on Overbaugh Street in the village and was charged with misdemeanor possession of a hypodermic instrument. Jacob was released with a ticket for Saugerties Village Court.
