Gym Stars sparkle at New York City event
The Gym Stars had six allaround champions, while winning team titles in the Diamond and Child Bronze Divisions at the recent Chelsea Piers/Winter Challenge in New York.

Lorna Quick won the allaround crown in the Child Bronze Division, finishing first on the beam (9.90) and the floor exercise (9.3) and placed third in the uneven bars (9.40) for all-around score of 37.715
Alyssa Traini took all around honors in the Junior Bronze Division, placing first on the vault (9.250) and the uneven bars (9.65) and second on the beam (9.70) and floor exercise (9.40) for a 38.00 all-around tally.
Kaylan Renning claimed the Senior Bronze Division all-around crown with a 36.85, finishing first in the uneven bars (9.50) and second place in the balance beam (9.65) and floor exercise (9.0) en-route to a 36.85 all-around score
In the Gold Division, Child Gold Division Jessica Baeckmann won the allaround, placing first, the uneven bars (9.550) and the floor exercise (9.525) and second in the vault (8.90) and balance beam (9.175) for an all-around tally of 37.150.
Jessica La Manda placed first in the all-around in the Diamond Divison’s Junior Division, finishing first on the uneven bars (9.05) and the balance beam (8.60), second in the vault (9.05) and uneven bars (9.30) and third in the floor exercise with a 9.35 for an allaround score of 36.200.
In the Diamond Division’s Senior Division Xandra Zucker took all around honors with a 35.925, finishing first in the vault (8.85) and the uneven bars (8.80) and second in the balance beam (9.225) and the floor exercise (9.05).
Other winners for the Gym Stars were Mariah Sinnott (9.60 on the uneven bars), Juliana Traini (9.20 on vault), Lauren Zecca (9.00 on vault and (9.325 on bars) and Julia Munn (9.375 on bars).
