Catskill Watershed Corp. approves funding
At its March meeting, the Catskill Watershed Corp. board of directors approved funding for several stormwater control projects through its Future Stormwater Program:
• Community Bank in Fleischmanns, up to $16,795 for stormwater control costs associated with paving a parking lot adjacent to the Bushkill stream.
• Town of Prattsville, up to $62,446 for stormwater controls required for the construction of a medical clinic.
• Village of Delhi, up to $156,141 for costs associated with stormwater controls at a new paved River Walk recreational trail adjacent to the West Branch of the Delaware River. The Riverwalk project also will receive a $247,682 grant from the Stormwater Retrofit Program for Phase 2 of the project.
• Delaware Academy and Central School, a $43,500 retrofit grant for the design of a comprehensive stormwater improvement project.
