English Country Dance in Port Ewen on April 1

WHAT: English Country Dance WHEN: April 1 from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m., with workshop at 7 p.m. WHERE: Reformed Church of Port Ewen, 160Salem St., Port Ewen DETAILS: Hudson Valley English Country Dance offers an evening of dancing to traditional tunes played by local musicians. The music will be provided by the band Tiddely Pom. Melanie Axel-Kute will be the caller. The workshop at 7 p.m. is important for newcomers to understand better the vocabulary of English country dance. Wearing comfortable shoes is advised. Potluck refreshments will be served at the break.
