Patricia Ann Geisel, 70, of Kignston

Patricia Ann Geisel, 70, of Kingston died Friday, March 24, 2017, at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck.

She is the daughter of Marie (Hofbauer) Green and the late Lester Green.

A registered nurse, certified, Patricia had been employed at the Kingston Hospital, on both the neurological and pediatric floors, the Benedictine Hospital’s maternity ward and the Northern Dutchess Hospital’s, Neugarten Family Birth Center for many years. She also worked in the private practices of Dr. George Verrilli and Dr. Dean Bloch.

A parishioner of Saint Mary’s, she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and volunteered at the Kingston Catholic School. She was also a member of the Wiltwyck Quilters Guild.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, of 51 years, William Geisel; her children, Amber Geisel-Wager and her husband Leo, Todd W. Geisel and his wife Lori; her sisters Brenda Green and Susan Yerks; brothers, Lester and Kevin Green; her grandchildren, Kyla Knowlton, Kari Goodnow, Kerstyn Shultis, Jayde Geisel and Bailey Geisel; her great-grandchildren, Audrey, Jude, Gino, Bayleigh and Guiliana. Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

A sister, Mary Ryan, died previously.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. A funeral procession will form Monday 9 a.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Church. Final prayers and commendation will follow at the Wiltwyck Community Mausoleum.
