autopsy performed Wednesday at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany determined the cause of death to be “severe internal injuries from the collision,” Kusminsky said.

He said a wet road due to Tuesday’s rain might have been a contributing factor.

Kusminsky said investigators do not believe speeding, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

An obituary for Williams submitted to the Freeman said she was a 2013 graduate of Rondout Valley High School and a licensed cosmetologist with a certificate from Ulster County BOCES. She also was an Ulster Community College graduate, according to the obituary.

Williams is survived by her parents, Mark and Andrea Williams of Stone Ridge.
