Grace Gavis scored five goals to lead Kingston High to a 19-8 girls lacrosse win over Minisink Valley.

KINGSTON, N.Y. >> Grace Gavis scored five goals and had two assists, while Analiese Amato had three goals and an assist, to lead Kingston High to a 19-8 Orange County Interschol­astic Athletic Associatio­n girls lacrosse win over Minisink Valley at Dietz Stadium.

Ahead 7-4, the (2-2) Tigers broke the game open by scoring 12 goals in the second half.

Julianna Sickler (three goals), Meghan Gavis (two goals), Makenna Sepesie (two goals) Kendal Parker (one goal, one assist), Olivia Prizzi (one goal), Reiley Fitzgerald (one goal, two assist), Paige Kowal (one goal) and Rossella Nardi (one assist) also scored for Kingston, which held a 36-15 advantage in shots on goal.

Grace Perry had seven saves for the Tigers, who are off until April 18 when they travel to play Newburgh Free Academy. Red Hook 9, Saugerties 6

At Hyde Park, Mia Michaelide­s had three goals and three assists, and Natalie Ryan and Syr Esposito scored two goals apiece, to lead the (2-1) Raiders.

Bailey Jordan had a goal and two assists and Julia Bemis, Erin Hare and Hannah Campagna

also scored for Red Hook.

Keilly Wickham connected for five goals and Libby Baldwin had one to guide the Sawyers in their opener.

DeCourcey Gardner had seven saves in goal for Red Hook, while Sawyer keeper Jessie O’Dell stopped eight shots in the loss. Burke 14, Highland 9

At Highland, Abigail Munson had four goals and Nicole Iapoce added three goals, but it wasn’t enough for the Huskies.

Erin Kerr scored four goals; Shannon Pullar had three; Alexis Sigillo had two goals and one assist; and Mary Costa contribute­d two goals to lead the Eagles.

Eliz Fino contribute­d a goal and an assist, and Sarah Precour and Lilly

Precour each added an assist, for the Huskies.

Miranda Bellacicco had eight saves and Lauren Weiss stopped two shots in split duty for Highland.

At New Paltz, Kaitlyn Daly had six goals and an assist, while Brooke Babbitt added five goals and two assists to lead the Blazers in their opener.

Carrie Halpin (assist) and Erin Fox scored three goals each, while Taylor Redl (two assists), Cat Halpin, Isa Rosenzweig, Emma Sager and Stephanie Williams added a goal apiece in the win. Kelly Waters contribute­d three assists; Arianna Radovic added an assist; while Claire Martell made six saves for Millbrook, which led 13-0 at halftime.

Danielle Takacs scored the long goal for the (0-2) Huguenots.
