Miller powers Red Hook to win over Middletown

Hudson Miller had seven goals and an assist, as Red Hook High rolled to a 15-8 Orange County Interschol­astic Athletic Associatio­n boys lacrosse victory over Middletown on Thursday.

One Sagerman scored three goals, while Brian Kelly (assist) and Luca Viverito added two goals each for the (2-1) Raiders. Tyler Kehoe had a goal, while Dallas Hooton and Jake Kelly added assists. Liam Quinlan, meanwhile, made five saves in the win.

Sean Tylor scored five goals, while Matt Guattery added two goals and an assist for the (0-4) Middies. Noriel Brown scored a goal, while A.J. Smalls stopped 11 shots in the loss. and Jack Frederick had three, for the Huskies.

Highland jumped out to a 4-1 lead after the first quarter, finished the first half with a 6-3 lead and extended its lead to 9-5 going into final period en route to the win.

Jesse Weaver scored a goal and had two assists; Chris Hammond had a goal and an assist; Jack Young and Mike Cernigilia each contribute­d a goal; and Danny Rusk and Christian Canino each tacked on two assists to lead (4-2) Highland.

Joe Scaglione had three goals; Dillon Rispali had two goals; Corey Mullaly and Evan Mullaly each tallied a goal; and Adam Breault contribute­d an assist for the (3-2) Warriors

Giorgio D’Angelo made 12 saves for the Huskies, while Andrew Bucher stopped six shots for Lourdes.
