Kingston sets meet mark at Niskayuna Classic
The Kingston High distance medley relay of Jayson Hines, Witcliffe Cunningham, Lucas Lopez and Robert Becker won in 10:36.9 at the Nisky Relay Challenge, beating the old meet mark by six seconds.
Kingston High’s boys distance medley relay team broke a meet record during weekend track and field competition at Niskayuna.

The Tiger boys and girls teams placed third each in the Relay Challenge.
Samara Herzog, Chloe Chaffin, Kaliyah Lindsay and Livi Longendyke combined to win the 800 sprint medley in 1:57.72 and the 1000 Swedish relay inb 2:29.78.
Kingston returned the following day for the Niskayuna Classic, where the girls were fifth with 39 points and the boys 10th with 24.
Individual titles were won by Lopez (2:01.96) in the 800 and Grace Longendyke with a 34-7.5 clearance in the triple jump.
Kingston has a busy week in store. The Tigers have a dual meet at Monroe-Woodbury Tuesday, will send the boys 3200 relay to the Penn Relays Carnival Friday with the hopes of them qualifying for Saturday’s finals.
