Actors Maisie Williams and Asa Butterfield stopped at the Kingston Police Department on Wednesday, along with other cast and crew members, to shoot scenes for the upcoming film “Departures,” which currently is filming in the city.

Williams is best known for her role as Arya Stark in HBO’s “Game of Thrones.” Butterfield has appeared in “Hugo,” “The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas,” “Ender’s Game” and “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.”

The Kingston Police Department posted photos of the actors and crew on its Facebook page on Wednesday.

Also visiting the station were Ken Jeong (“Community,” “The Hangover”) and Briana Venskus (“The Walking Dead,” “Agents of Shield”), who play police officers and posed in a photo with two Kingston detectives.

The Kingston Police Department post said: “Our station was turned into a movie set today. We had to be quiet and tiptoe around every time we heard ‘rolling.’” The filming took place in the Detective Division and cell area, “so now if you get arrested, you may be staying in a cell that Maisie Williams or Asa Butterfield acted in,” the post said.

“Sorry to say that none of us got a part to play in the movie. Maybe next time,” it added.

“Departures” is the story of “a spunky teenager with a terminal illness who befriends Calvin, a 19-year-old who is afraid of his own shadow,” according to Deadline.com. The film also stars Nina Dobrev, Tyler Hoechlin, Sonya Walger, Peyton List and David Koechner.

The movie is due for release in 2018, according to IMDB.com.
