Saugerties’ Wickham nets 100th career goal

Keilly Wickham scored nine goals, including the 100th of her career, as Saugerties High defeated Highland 20-14 in an Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association girls lacrosse match on Tuesday.

Wickham, who now has 106 goals, added two assists for the Sawyers. Nicole Klein and Deeva Kuriplach had three goals and an assist each, while Libby Baldwin (five assists) and Eva Vazquez added two goals each in the win. Abby MacIsaac had a goal; Hannah Munoz added an assist; while Samantha Schatzel — playing in her second game as a goalie — made nine saves for Saugerties.

Elizabeth Fino had 10 goals and two assists to lead the Huskies, while Abigail Munson added three goals and two assists. Nicole Laposeig rounded out Highland’s scoring, while Miranda Belladiccio stopped four shots in the loss.
