Kairos: A Consort of Singers in concert on May 7

WHAT: Concert WHEN: May 7 at 4 p.m. WHERE: Holy Cross Monastery, 1615 Route 9W, West Park DETAILS: Kairos: A Consort of Singers will continue its 2017 Bach Cantata Series. The program will include Bach’s Cantata No. 97, “In Allen Meinen Taten.” It is among the lesser-known of Bach’s cantatas, of which there are some 200. The program will also include the rapturous “Lux Aeterna.” An instrumental interlude in the program will include two bourrées from Bach’s “Cello Suite No. 3,” performed on the double bass by Daniel Merriman.
