Gail Ann Adams, 63, of Dahlonega, Ga., died Friday, April 21, 2017, in Hurley, at the home of her daughter.

Born Oct. 6, 1953, in Pine Plains, N.Y., she was the daughter of Betty Jane (Eddy) Wilbur of Cumming, Georgia, and the late Donald A. Adams.

A seamstress, Gail owned and operated Sewing by Gail. She was a huge fan of the Charlie Daniels Band, A wildlife rehabilita­tion volunteer, she spent many hours panning for gold, and enjoyed gardening, sewing, fishing and crocheting. She was known to many as “Old Gail” or “Gold Gail.”

Surviving are her children, Tracy Sue Hutton and her husband, Joseph, David Bush, Daneen Schiskey and her husband John; grandchild­ren, Lawrence Hutton, Jacqueline Hutton, Lydia, Magnus, Brittney, Danielle Bush, J.C. and Deedra Schiskey; and brothers and sisters, Lynda Coupe, Walter Adams and his wife Debra, Susan Reif and her husband Chris, Angie Wiebke and her husband Danny, Nick Loiacono, John Loiacono and his wife Diana. Several great-grandchild­ren, nieces, nephews and extended family, and her “other daughter,” Jonalyn Collins, also survive.

Two brothers, George and Donald Adams Jr., and a brother-in-law, John Coupe Sr., predecease­d her.

Gail generously donated her body to the Albany Medical College. A Celebratio­n of Her Life will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017, at the Reservoir Inn from noon to 3 p.m. Please call (845) 331-6049 to express your intention of attending.
