Rasmus A. Jensen, 68, of Stone Ridge, died unexpected­ly Saturday, May 6, 2017, at HealthAlli­ance Hospital, Broadway Campus, in Kingston. He was born in Stockholm, Sweden, March 23, 1949, a son of the late Herbert and Margit Thornbloom Jensen. Rasmus was a longtime resident of Stone Ridge and a graduate of Rondout Valley High School and SUNY Albany in 1971. He was a member of the Marbletown Sportsman’s Club, Norfolk and Western Historical Society and the West Shore Model Railroad Club.

He is survived by his wife, Marianne E. (Micki) Wood-Jensen; his brother and best friend, Terry Brown and his wife Sally of Horseheads, N.Y., and their son and daughter, Sean Brown and Kate Roush. He is also survived by four grand-nieces, Hailey Roush, Sierra, Shannon, and Sally Brown; a grand-nephew, Hunter Roush; and all of his hunting buddies.

Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc., 2053 Route 32, Rosendale. At 7 p.m., the Rev. Charles Stickley will officiate the funeral service. Cremation will take place privately.

Rosemary Joan Albrecht, 78, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017, at her home in Rhinebeck, surrounded by her loving daughters.

Born on May 4, 1939, in Kingston, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary (O’Neill) McDonough.

She graduated from Kingston High school in 1957.

On June 1, 1957, Rosemary married Matthew Henry Albrecht at St. Mary’s Church in Kingston, N.Y. Mr. Albrecht passed away on April 23, 2012, in Rhinebeck.

Rosemary worked as a manager at IBM for over 25 years in both the Kingston and Poughkeeps­ie locations.

She and Matthew previously lived in Hurley, N.Y., for 25 years before moving to Rhinebeck.

Rosemary enjoyed playing bridge and was a Bronze Life Master. She was a member of the Poughkeeps­ie Bridge Club and was one of the founding members of the Rhinebeck Bridge Club, where she taught many how to play the game. For over 10 years, Rosemary served on the Board of Directors of The Woods community in Rhinebeck, where she lived. She and Matthew were one of the first homeowners in the community, which they loved.

She is survived by her three daughters, Susan Albrecht of Las Vegas, Nev.; Jean Nelson of Dallas, Texas; and Diane Mahar and her husband James of Ballston Spa, N.Y., as well as her beloved dog, Oscar. She was predecease­d by two sisters, Ann Fuller and Eileen Whitney, both of Kingston, N.Y.

Calling hours will be held at Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, 51 W. Market St., Rhinebeck, N.Y., on Monday, May 8, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 9, 2017.

Burial at Rhinebeck Cemetery will be held at the convenienc­e of the family.
