Kingston boys defeat Pine Bush
Kingston High’s track and field teams split a home dual meet with Pine Bush.
The Tiger boys won 88-53, while Pine Bush’s girls pulled out a 74-63 victory.
Robert Becker, Ben Osborn and Qyniece Hylton-Jackson were all double winners for Kingston. Becker won both the 800- and 1600-meter runs, while Osborn took the long and triple jumps and Hylton captured the shot put and discus.
Winners for the boys were Witcliffe Cunningham (100), Jared Freese (400), Tyleaf McGriff (200), Jayson Hines (3200), Bruce Lent (pole vault), Josh Yovella (shot put) and Jack McDonough (discus).
Also winning for the girls were Livi Longendyke (200) and Jaid Harrell (high jump).
Eddy Zajac, Bailey Ryan, Giovanni Melchionne and Ryan Kacur won the 3200 relay and Cunningham, JaVar Tinsley, Chuck Robinson and McGriff teamed to take the 400.
The Tiger girls won the same relays with Clara Sensini, Thea Kovaleski, Vanessa Hill and Grace Regan taking the 3200 and Herzog, Kaliyah Lindsay, Chloe Chaffin and Longendyke winning the 400.
