Kingston overcomes Warwick in overtime

Grace Gavis scored four goals, while Kendal Parker added three, as Kingston High overcame Warwick in overtime, 14-13, in an Orange County Interschol­astic Athletic Associatio­n girls lacrosse match.

Rosella Nardi and Analiese Amato scored two goals each, while Lauren Davis and Makenna Sepesi also scored goals for the (12-3 overall, 10-0 OCIAA) Tigers, who won their second straight overtime match. Last Friday, Kingston defeated Monroe-Woodbury 8-7 in OT. Grace Perry made four saves in the Tigers’ win over Warwick.

Maggee Sheridan had three goals and three assists to lead the Cruasders, while Natalie Daigle (two assists), Brogan Dineen and Erin Flannery added two goals each. Taina Gamory and Hannah LaTorre had a goal and an assist each, while Allie Kidney stopped 14 shots in the loss.

Kingston travels to play Monroe on Thursday. Saugerties 12, Highland 11

At Highland, Keilly Wickham scored six goals to lift the Sawyers to the victory.

Nicole Klein scored two goals, while Julia Quinlan, Hannah Munoz, Anna VanRoy and Deeva Kuriplach rounded the scoring for Saugerties. Jessie O’Dell, meanwhile, made three saves in the win.

Eliz Fino led the Huskies with seven goals, while Abbi Munson added two. Sarah Precour and Nicole Iapoce scored goals; Emma Beck added an assist; while Miranda Bellacicco stopped 14 shots in the loss.
