ROCHESTER, N.Y. >> Agnes R. (Raskoskie) Hanley, formerly of Port Ewen, passed away in Rochester, N.Y., on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at age 93.

Predecease­d by her husband, Robert Hanley Sr., she is survived by her son and daughterin-law, Robert and Barbara Hanley of Rochester; grandchild­ren, Anthony, Robert (Diane) and Kimberly; great-grandchild­ren, Richard, Samantha and Julia; great-great-grandson, Tyler; brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Sophie Raskoskie of North Carolina; many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hanley was a graduate of St. Ursula, class of 1941, Magna Cum Laude and Valedictor­ian. She was a life member of Immaculate Conception Church, where she was a past president and past financial secretary for the Rosary Society, a church trustee, a Eucharisti­c minister and lector, and former parish council member. She also was a volunteer of Greater NY Blood Bank and American Red Cross Blood Bank, and a former member of the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross. She retired from Hercules Inc./Dyno Nobel after 40 years of service.

Funeral arrangemen­ts are under the guidance of Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home Inc., 27 Smith Ave., Kingston, N.Y. (www.jvleahyfh.com) Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Expression­s of sympathy in lieu of flowers may be made in the form of contributi­ons to Immaculate Conception Church, 467 Delaware Ave., Kingston, N.Y. 12401, in her memory.
