On the move
Zoe Weinstein, of Rhinebeck, N.Y., has joined the medical staff of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network, with privileges at member hospitals HealthAlliance Hospital, Mary’s Avenue Campus, in Kingston, and MidHudson Regional Hospital, in Poughkeepsie.
A board-certified breast surgeon, Weinstein previously was in private practice for nearly 20 years and has served as medical director of the Fern Feldman Anolick Center for Breast Health at HealthAlliance Hospital, Mary’s Avenue Campus, since 2009, a role she will continue to fill.
She is a member of the Medical Society of the State of New York and the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
Weinstein earned her undergraduate degree from Sarah Lawrence College in Yonkers and her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. She completed an internship in anatomic pathology and a five-year residency in general surgery at Montefiore Medical Center.
••• Stephanie Blaisdell, of Memphis, Tenn., has been named vice president for student affairs at SUNY New Paltz.
Blaisdell, who expects to relocated to the Mid-Hudson Valley, will assume her new role on July 10. Blaisdell currently serves as assistant vice president for student affairs, student development, at the University of Memphis.
In her current position, she leads a team of 60 fulltime staff, overseas a budget of $7.5 million, and more than $800,000 in revenue-generated funds and $650,000 in grant funding annually.
Blaisdell holds a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of Arizona and earned a master of counseling degree and a Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Arizona State University.
