Catskill · Drugs:
John R. Riley Jr., age and address unavailable, was arrested by Catskill police at 7:52 p.m. Friday on West Main Street and charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Riley was released with a ticket for Catskill Village Court.
· Drugs: Jason Whitcomb, 28, of Jewett, and Elizabeth Sarnowski, 27, of Catskill, were arrested by Catskill police at 4:32 p.m. Thursday at 422 Main St. in the village. Both were charged with the misdemeanors of possession of a hypodermic instrument and possession of a controlled substance and released with a tickets for Catskill Village Court.
Coxsackie ·DWI:
Karen E. Ada, 52, of Theresa, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 11:55 p.m. Sunday on U.S. Route 9W in Coxsackie and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent, drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving. Ada was released with a ticket for Coxsackie Town Court.
Hurley · DWI/DWAI-drugs:
Denise M. Wood, 51, of Lake Katrine, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 5:44 p.m. Sunday after a personal injury accident at the intersection of U.S. Route 209 and Wynkoop Road in Hurley and charged with the misdemeanors of drunken driving and driving while ability impaired by drugs, and with the violation of possession of marijuana. Wood was released with a ticket for Hurley Town Court. Details about the accident and the injuries sustained were not immediately available.
Lloyd ·DWI:
Jaqwan M. Foster, 22, of Kingston, was arrested by Lloyd police on May 15 after a traffic stop for violations on U.S. Route 9W in Highland and was charged with the misdemeanor of drunken driving and the violation of possession of marijuana. Foster was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court. · Grand larceny: Ashley R. Morrow, 24, of Highland, was arrested by Lloyd police on May 16 and charged with grand larceny, a felony. Morrow was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
New Paltz ·DWI:
Jephet E. Morgan, 61, of Rouses Point, was arrested by state police at Highland at 11:36 p.m. Sunday on state Route 32 in the town and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Morgan was released with a ticket for New Paltz Court.
Marlborough · Criminal contempt:
Marcus Leveine, 47, of New Windsor, was arrested by state police at Highland at 6 p.m. Sunday on U.S. Route 9W in Marlborough and charged with felony criminal contempt. Leveine was sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail.
Wawarsing · Obstruction of governmental administration:
Brittney N. Keesler, 28, of Kerhonkson, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 3:40 p.m. Sunday at 1195 Arrowhead Road and charged with the misdemeanors of obstruction of governmental administration and aggravated unlicensed driving, the violation of possession of marijuana, and the infractions of faulty exhaust system and a license plate violation. Keesler was released with a ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
Town of Rochester · Drugs:
Dianna J. Curtis, 25, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 11 p.m. Sunday on U.S. Route 44/ state Route 55 in the town of Rochester and charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and the violation of possession of marijuana. Curtis was released with a ticket for Rochester Town Court.
Town of Ulster · Drugs:
Michael A. Notarnicola, 37, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Ulster on May 15 on Interstate 587 in the town and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of marijuana, a violation. Notarnicola’s arrest followed a traffic stop during which he was seen with about 2.6 grams of a white and clear crystaline substance believed to be methamphetamine, as well as paraphernalia used to smoke methamphetamine. Notarincola was sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail.
·DWI: Amanda L. Elliott, 31, of Lake Katrine, was arrested by town of Ulster police at 10:05 p.m. Thursday on Leggs Mill Road in the town and charged with two felony counts of drunken driving and one felony count of aggravated unlicensed driving and with the misdemeanor of drunken driving. Elliott’s arrest followed a complaint of an intoxicated driver at a convenience store in Lake Katrine, a hamlet of the town of Ulster, who provided police with a description of a person resembling Elliott who they believed to be intoxicated. Elliott had two children under the age of 15 in her vehicle when she was stopped by police. Elliott was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
· Endangering/aggravated harassment: Meana S. Henderson, 36, of Kingston, was arrested by town of Ulster police at 10:36 a.m. Friday and charged with the misdemeanors of endan-
gering the welfare of a child and aggravated harassment, and the violation of harassment. Henderson allegedly sent text messages to an individual threatening to physically harm another person and also verbally threatened physical harm to that same person in the presence of someone under the age of 17. No fight took place and no one was harmed. Henderson was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
· Drugs: Julianne S. Sullam, 31, of Kingston, was arrested by town of Ulster police at 6:47 p.m. Thursday and charged with the misdemeanors of possession of a controlled substance (heroin), possession of hypodermic needles and aggravated unlicensed driving, and with the infraction of driving without vehicle insurance. Sullam’s arrest followed a traffic stop on Katrine Lane. She was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
· Shoplifting: Karen D. Anderson, 74, of Rhinebeck, was arrested by town of Ulster police at 1:15 p.m. Thursday and charged with misdemeanor petit larceny. Anderson is accused of shoplifting $69.93 worth of merchandise from the Home Goods store in the Kingss Mall. Anderson was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
· Shoplifting: Tyler J. Borey, 24, of Cementon, was arrested by town of Ulster police at 2:50 p.m. Friday and charged with the misdemeanor of petit larceny. Borey is accused of shoplifting $38.85 worth of merchandise from the Walmart store, 601 Frank E. Sottile Blvd. Borey was released into the custody of Saugerties police who held a warrant for his arrest.
· Shoplifting: Shikim M. Douglas, 23, of Kingston, was arrested by town of Ulster police at 5:03 p.m. Saturday and charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Douglas is accused of shoplifting $300.27 worth of merchandise from the Walmart store, 601 Frank E. Sottile Blvd. Douglas was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
Wawarsing
· Promoting prison contraband: Amanda L. Lewis, 32, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing on Saturday at the Eastern Correctional Facility in Napanoch and charged with the felony of promoting prison contraband, six misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and the violations of possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance outside of its original container. Lewis was arrested after a police dog detected a prescription bottle in her possession containing six different types of controlled substances after she entered the facility to visit an acquaintance. Additionally, Lewis was found to be in possession of a marijuana cigarette and a marijuana grinder in her vehicle also on prison grounds. Lewis was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $250 bail.
