CYCLING Programs Mountain Bike Camp: For ages 12-15. YMCA offers two 1-week sessions at Camp Seewackama­no in Shokan. Dates are July 10-14 and Aug. 14-18. Times are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Campers develop mountain bike skills through trail rides and games and spend four days offsite at trail locations (which may include Lippman Park, Ferncliff Forest, Elm Ridge, Lake Minnewaska State Park and others). Basic safety and maintenanc­e as well as environmen­tal responsibi­lities that come with outdoor recreation are covered. A geared bike in good working order with offroad tires measuring at least 2 inches in width, plus helmet are required. This is an intermedia­te level program and not intended for beginners. Camper-staff ratio is 8-1. Camp fees are $325 per week. 12th Annual Tour de Kingston and Ulster: June 25 from Forsyth Park, Kingston. Rides for all ages and abilities. Road rides: 25 and 50 miles. Road and Trail rides: 10, 18 and 28 miles. Kingston Family Ride: flat and easy 5 miles (free and escorted by Tour de Kingston Road Marshals and the Kingston Police Department. Barbecue lunch, raffle and scholarshi­p awards follow the rides.
