The Ballaz captures Over-30 B Division title

The Ballaz took the Kingston Recreation League Men’s Over-30 B Division basketball crown with a 53-52 win over the Avid Flosserz. Kay Faircloth scored 20 points to lead the Ballaz in the win.

The Ballaz took the Kingston Recreation League Men’s Over-30 B Division basketball crown with a 53-52 win over the Avid Flosserz.

Kay Faircloth scored 20 points to lead the Ballaz, while Rick Bailey and Rob Smith each added 10 points in the win.

Kyle Nedham (16 points), Ben Giardullo (14), Phil Hovarth (13) and Satoru Bauman (12) paced the flosserz.

In the semifinals The Ballaz defeated Rowan’s Woodwork 57-46, and the Avid Flosserz cruised by Peet’s Coffee 67-53.

Trevor Johnson scored 20 points and Neville Bent had 10 to lead the Ballaz.

Matt Simmons and Greg Pinelli each had 13 points for Rowan’s in the loss.

Ben Giardullo scored 29 points and Kyle Needham contributed 16 for the Flosserz in the win.

Eddie Mallete scored 22 points and Marcus Jordan had 21 for Peet’s in the loss.
