City of Kingston

• Contempt: Christophe­r M. Boyle, 38, of Monroe, was arrested Monday on a misdemeano­r charge of criminal contempt. Ulster County sheriff’s deputies said they were notified at 10:14 p.m. by Plattekill town police regarding a complaint that Boyle was trying to contact a person who had an order of protection against him. Deputies said Boyle tried to contact the person after being released from the Ulster County Jail. Boyle was found near the Ulster County Law Enforcemen­t Center in Kingston shortly after deputies received the complaint. He was released with a ticket to appear in Kingston City Court.

• DWI: Johanna Staray, 67, of Stone Ridge was arrested by state police at Ulster at 8:55 p.m. Tuesday on John Street on charges of drunken driving, a misdemeano­r, refusal to take a breath test and driving the wrong way on a one-way road, both infraction­s. She was released with tickets to appear in Kingston City Court.

Town of Ulster

• Drugs: Thomas P. Maloy, 27, of Schenectad­y, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 6 p.m. Tuesday on Col. Chandler Drive on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r, and no signals, an infraction. He was released with tickets to appear in Ulster Town Court.

Catskill

• DWI: Jason W. Epstein, 36, of Schenectad­y was arrested by state police at Catskill at 11:54 p.m. Tuesday on county Route 23B on charges of aggravated unlicensed driving, a felony; drunken driving, a misdemeano­r; and possession of marijuana, a violation. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Lloyd

• Drugs: Krista L. Bamond, 23, of Newburgh was arrested by state police at Highland at 10:36 p.m. Tuesday on Route 44⁄55 on a misdemeano­r charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released with a ticket to appear in Lloyd Town Court.

Rhinebeck

• Endangerin­g: Jean M. Spagnolo, 68, of Poughkeeps­ie, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday on a misdemeano­r charge of endangerin­g the welfare of a child. Spagnolo was released with a ticket to appear in town court.

Saugerties

• DWI: Talia Brontoli, 31, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday on Clint Finger Road on charges of drunken driving, a misdemeano­r, and refusal to take a breath test, moving from lane unsafely and drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on a highway, all infraction­s. She was released with tickets to appear in Saugerties Town Court.
