City of Kingston

· Welfare fraud: Tiffany Jones, no age given, of Kingston, was charged on May 23 with welfare fraud and offering a false instrument, felonies, according to a press release from Ulster County Executive Michael Hein. An investigat­ion conducted by the Ulster County Department of Social Services Special Investigat­ion Unit, in conjunctio­n with the Office of the Ulster County District Attorney discovered that Jones failed to report income from Feb. 2017 through May 2017, the release said. Jones received $1,478.01 in Temporary Assistance benefits to which she was not entitled, the release said.

· Welfare fraud: Sheilann Jones, no age given, of Highland was arrested on May 23, 2017 and charged withy welfare fraud and offering a false instrument for filing, felonies, according to a press release from Ulster County Executive Michael Hein. An investigat­ion conducted by the Ulster County Department of Social Services Special Investigat­ion Unit in conjunctio­n with the Office of the Ulster County District Attorney discovered that Jones failed to report income from August 2016 through March 2017. Jones received $5,492 in Temporary Assistance and SNAP benefits to which she was not titled, the release said.

· Criminal contempt: Erik R. Goslar, 22, of Kingston, was charged Wednesday at about 4:50 p.m. with criminal contempt, a misdemeano­r, according to state police at Wawarsing.

· DWI: James S. Jackman, 30, of Kingston, was arrested at about 4:16 a.m. Thursday and charged with driving while intoxicate­d, a misdemeano­r, according to state police at Ulster. He was arrested on Albany Avenue and issued an appearance ticket, police said.

Cairo

· DWAI: Joseph L. Sikorski-Elsbree, 25, of Acra, was arrested at about 3:42 a.m. Thursday and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and criminal use of drug parapherna­lia, misdemeano­rs, according to state police at Catskill. He was arrested on Lake Mills Road in Cairo and issued an appearance ticket, police said.

Greenville

· DWI: Lisa M. Delosa, 44, of Glenmont, was charged Wednesday at about 10:21 p.m. with driving while intoxicate­d, a felony, according to state police at Coxsackie. She was arrested on state Route 32 in Greenville, police said.

Shawangunk

·Weapon: Matthew J. Spears, 32, of Pine Bush, was charged Wednesday at about 11:04 p.m. with criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, according to state police at Highland. He was arrested at 180 Hardenburg­h Road in Shawangunk, police said.

Wallkill

·Drugs: Creyvonne Jones, 43, of Middletown, was charged Wednesday at about 10:17 p.m. with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies, according to state police at Ulster. Jones was arrested on Ballard Road in Wallkill, police said.

Wawarsing

· DWAI: Honeysue Miller, 28, of Poughkeeps­ie, was charged Wednesday at about 8:40 p.m. with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeano­r, according to state police at Wawarsing. She was arrested on state Route 209 in Wawarsing, police said.

Town of Ulster

· Petty larceny: Harriet Ann Wagner, 47, of Lake Katrine, was charged at

about 5:37 p.m. Monday with petty larceny and criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeano­rs, according to the Town of Ulster Police Department. Wagner was accused of stealing $73.47 worth of merchandis­e from Walmart Superstore, police said. She was found to be in possession a prescripti­on medication that did not belong to her, police said.

· Drugs: Andrew W. Rea, 24, of Stone Ridge, was charged at about 5:45 p.m. Wednesday with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, according to the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office. Rea was arrested on Hurley Mountain Road in the town of Ulster, deputies said. After an investigat­ion, they found about 3.2 grams of packaged MDMA, also known as “Molly” or ecstasy, inside the vehicle he was driving, deputies said. Rea was arraigned in the Town of Ulster Justice Court and released without bail, deputies said.
