Kingston medals at Sculling, Sweep events
Kingston High won six medals and the girls team championship at the Hudson Valley Rowing League Sculling championships and took four more medals at the league’s Sweep finals.

Kingston’s girls won gold at the Sculling meet in the Quad rowed by graduation seniors Bailey Madison, MacKenzie DerCola, Karlee North and Julia Wolf and in the Double rowed by Agnes Anderson and Taylor Robey. Senior Sarah West won silver in the Single.
The boys at the Sculling meet won silver in the Quad rowed by senior Liam Mabey, Jose Torres, Conor Whittington-Couse and Hunter Williams, the Single with Joshua Shafran, and the Double with freshmen Cameron Fairley and Brendan Jaeger.
In the Sculling non-title events, Kingston took first in the Mixed Quad and third in the Mixed Double.
The Tigers took home a gold in the boys 4-plus, silver in the girls 8 and bronze in the boys 8 and the girls lightweight 4-plus at the Sweep Championship.
The boys 4+ is coxed by West and rowed by Jaeger, Ryan North, Shafran and Fairley won the gold. The girls 8 is coxed by Arlo Stone and rowed by Wolf, Anderson, Karlee North, Shaffer, Kuster, Robey and DerCola took silver.
The boys 8 is coxed by Danielle Wolf and rowed by Mabey, Hunter Williams, Whittington-Couse, Torres, Jordan Hulbert, Joseph Lynch, Liam Hutton and Jacob Kirschner. The girls lightweight 4-plus is coxed by Mealea VanDeBerg and rowed by Olivia VanPelt, Faye Higgins, Julie Lasher and Jillian Goralewski.
